A mentorship is a structured learning environment that offers steady feedback and guidance that is tailored to help you achieve your long-term goals. Every mentorship is different. Your skill-level, your ambitions and your deadlines constitute the starting point around which your mentorship is designed.
Sam offers a mentorship focused on developping your character texturing skills using Mari and adapted to a VFX pipeline. There are two paths for the mentorship: Sam can mentor you as you texture in Mari a character that you have previously started or Sam can mentor you as you texture a portion of a character that has been specifically set-up for you to start texturing right away.
You’ll have an initial call with Sam to discuss the best path forward for your mentorship in order to meet your goals. Knowing the basics of Mari is encouraged prior to starting the mentorship in order to maximize the effectiveness of your time with Sam.

Process
- After buying the mentorship you will be emailed a small questionnaire to fill up.
- We then proceed with a strategy call to further assess your goals and select a project for you to focus on.
- You'll have four sessions of 90 minutes of one-on-one training with Samuel.
- You'll be provided every session with objective feedback on your progress as well as objectives for the next session.
- The training sessions can be scheduled every week or every two weeks.
- The mentorship can be renewed as many times as you wish.
